The Isle of Arran benefits from having a number of committed emergency teams comprising  over 120 individual responders.  Since October 2010, Arran Resilience has brought these teams together in order to enhance effectiveness when dealing with multiple or major incidents.  In addition to regular liaison meetings, Arran Resilience aims to offer responder training opportunities, as well as continually develop cross-agency teamworking.

We have had interest from other teams and areas of Scotland, and so we thought it would be helpful to outline what Arran Resilience is about on this website.

If you would like to comment on any of the Arran Resilience work, or get in touch for any other reason, please don’t hesitate to do so using the “Contact” link at the top of this page.
